Why the name Foris Surgical Group, LLP?  Our founder, Dr. Nicholas Foris began practice in Frederick in the 1960's.  He provided general, vascular and thoracic surgical services to our area until his retirement in July 2000.  In recognition of his special dedication to patient care we are pleased to continue to service the Frederick area in his name.
