All of our physicians perform surgeries at Frederick Memorial Hospital.  Patients are given pre-operative instructions prior to the surgery date.  An arrival time will be provided to help prepare the patient for surgery.  The surgery time is an estimated time.  Unforseen emergencies may evolve which could potentially delay a patient's surgery.  The physicians do their best to make sure the process runs smoothly and efficiently. 

Dr. Mark Artusio and Dr. Steven Brand are co-owners of Thomas Johnson Surgery Center, LLC located at 197 Thomas Johnson Drive in the Weis Markets parking lot.  Along with Dr. Frank Schiebel, they also perform surgeries at this facility.  During your consultation, the patient may be offered to have the procedure performed at the surgery center.  Our surgical scheduler will verify through the patient's insurance if the procedure is covered.  To view more information about Thomas Johnson Surgery Center, LLC, visit their website at www.tjsurgery.com.
