Meet Dr. Shine: |
Dr. Kelly Shine was born in Washington, D.C. She graduated Cum Laude from Yale University with a major in Biology. She received her medical degree from Yale University Medical School. Dr. Shine then trained in surgery at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. In her final year of residency, she was awarded the Khatali Award for her role as mentor for the University's medical students.
Dr. Shine then worked as a surgeon in private practice in New Hampshire. In 2003 she moved to Frederick, MD and joined Foris Surgical Group. Dr. Shine is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and enjoys all aspects of general surgery.
In her free time, Dr. Shine enjoys spending time with family and riding horses.
