New Patient Portal
Foris Surgical Group implemented a certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, SRS Soft, in 2012. As part of the EHR, a secure patient portal for our patients has now
been implemented. A patient portal is a secure online website that gives patients convenient 24-hour access to personal health information from anywhere with an internet connection.
Using a secure username and password, patients can view health information such as recent doctor visits, medications, allergies, and clinical summaries. It also gives patients
the ability to send a secure e-mail message to their physician. With the implementation of the patient portal, Foris Surgical Group has enhanced patient-provider
communication, and availability of information.
As we receive ongoing feedback from our patients, we hope to make improvements and enhancements to the patient portal that will allow for additional secure access
to information, educational materials, medical forms, and patient requests.
